Data from the Atlantic Geoscience Centre Magnetic Compilation Project database and recent Leg 149 site surveys were corrected for secular and diurnal variations, geomagnetic instability, and crossover errors. The resulting 424,777 data points were gridded at 5 km and processed to transfer the anomalies to the pole.
