Of these species, 11 are new (Bradleya metamorphica. B. pelasgica, B. pseudodictyon, B. solida, B. caudata, B. labyrinthica. B. lordhowensis, B. multireticulata, B. ossa, B. pygmaea and B. queenslandia); 2 species have been previously described (B. dictyon (Brady) and B. mckenziei Benson); another species is compared to B. nuda Benson and 9 are left in open nomenclature. The genus is divided into two informal groups; those closely related to B. dictyon and those not closely related to this species mor, necessarily to one another.
